BCT’s target sectors/industries include the following: housing and community development, economic development, human services, nonprofit and community technology, and education. BCT has also provided telecommunications solutions for real estate projects.
  • Established corporate headquarters in Newark, NJ with approximately twenty full-time staff.
  • Expanded client base to include Fortune 500 corporations, federal government agencies, and large nonprofit organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Citigroup, Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, United Way, and others.

  An Affiliate Organization of BCT Partners and One Economy Corporation
Access One was a joint venture between BCT Partners and the Washington, DC-based One Economy Corporation. Access One’s mission is to equip residential and commercial real estate for the 21st century by implementing innovative, sustainable, broadband network solutions. This was accomplished using a combination of emerging wired/wireless technologies.

Launched management consulting and business consulting firm specializing in the development of effective strategies to assist public sector and private sector organizations. ICCG’s formula for lasting change was: Leadership + Strategy = Results. Worked closely with the executive leadership of our clients, ICCG endeavored to craft comprehensive strategies that achieved measurable, lasting results.
  • Established corporate offices in Kansas City, MO.
  • Directed the company’s overall technology strategy and technology solutions including the design and implementation of web applications, databases, networks and systems.
  • Served as an integral member of the company’s cross-functional consulting team that included experts in research, organizational development, economics, IT and business administration.

Launched new business venture providing educational services and training in the areas of leadership, negotiation, mentoring, project management, professional development and organizational development. 1997 - 1998 LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES Piscataway, NJ
  Global Wireless Products Group, Member of Technical Staff
Performed product development process modeling and analysis of digital cellular handsets. This research was a joint project between the MIT Leaders and Manufacturing (LFM) Program and the MIT Center for Innovation in Product Development (CIPD).
  • Used the Design Structure Matrix (DSM) to analyze information flow and dependencies.
  • Used Signal Flow Graphs and the Reward Markov Chain to characterize cycle time.
  • Designed an elaborate user interface to perform calculations quickly using Excel, Visual Basic, MATLAB, and UNIX shell scripts.
  • Recommendations and modeling tools were incorporated into the development environment.
1993-1995 Speech Coding Research Department, Member of Technical Staff
Researched and developed new technologies in digital speech compression and decompression. Applications included mobile and cellular communications, personal digital assistants, digital answering machines, and other multimedia products.
  • Designed comprehensive test procedure for speech coder testing and verification.
  • Conducted feasibility study of development platform for rapid prototyping of new systems.
  • Developed software library for performance measurement/diagnostic evaluation of algorithms.
